Unlike smooth leather, which can look great when distressed and worn, suede and nubuck leather tend to simply appear old and tired. However, Pedag's Suede, Sheepskin, Nubuck Leather, and Textile Care Kit provides the necessary tools to keep your shoes, boots, clothes, and even furniture looking brand new.

To begin, when dealing with suede and sheepskin, use the brass bristles on the Suede Brush to remove surface dirt. For nubuck and textiles, utilize the rubber bristles on the same brush. It's important to note that nubuck and textiles, although durable, are usually not as thick as suede.

Next, employ the side fan on the brush to dislodge dirt and debris from tight spots. Afterwards, gently use the eraser to remove any superficial stains or marks, taking extra care with nubuck and textiles. Ensure to brush away any eraser residue.

Now, shake the container of Suede Care Color Restorer, unscrew the top, and firmly press the sponge applicator against the surface until the liquid begins to flow. Evenly distribute the solution and allow it to dry for approximately 10 minutes. The Suede Care Color Restorer not only renews the color (the neutral color will brighten and refresh all hues without adding new color), but it also helps repel dust, dirt, and water.

To restore the luxurious nap that makes suede and nubuck so appealing, use the soft rubber bristles of the Suede Brush. Experiment by brushing with the grain for a smooth, soft appearance, or against the grain for a brighter color and a different look.

It's important to note that while the Color Care helps repel water, it is not a complete waterproofer. Pedag offers waterproofers that are ideal for all leathers and textiles, but other manufacturers also produce suitable options. If your clothing or footwear has high-tech, breathable membranes, ensure that the waterproofers and other care products you use will not clog the pores that allow air circulation.
